Convert Zotero Fields into Plain Text

After inserting citations and references, your word document is now full of Zotero fields, linking their in-text citations and bibliography to your Zotero library.

We recommend converting your Zotero coded word document into plain text to avoid conflicts and loss of citations. This is usually done when you have completed your paper and is ready to format and "beautify" your paper using the MS Word formatting functions.

You can convert your document to plain text without any Zotero fields using the following steps:
