You can insert in-text citation and bibliography into your research paper with Zotero's plugin for MS Word:
Plugin for MS Word has been installed if you are using standalone version of Zotero.

After inserting citations and references, your word document is now full of Zotero fields, linking their in-text citations and bibliography to your Zotero library.
We recommend converting your Zotero coded word document into plain text to avoid conflicts and loss of citations. This is usually done when you have completed your paper and is ready to format and "beautify" your paper using the MS Word formatting functions.
