A quick guide to help you find e-resources during online teaching and learning period

Arrangement of Library Opening

During the pandemic period, Library opening hours may be adjusted from time to time. Do check the Library Homepage for the latest service updates and opening hours before your visit to the Library.

Find e-Books and Articles


Start from OneSearch, your one-stop platform to search for library resources. Use "Full Text Online", "Books" or "Articles" filters to view the results that can be accessed online.

Google Scholar

Access Google Scholar via Library homepage so that you can directly access the full text of articles the Library subscribed to through PolyU eLinks.

Find e-Journals


Visit Journals A-Z to find and access the e-journals available through the Library. You may also use BrowZine which allows easy browsing, reading and following journals on both desktop and mobile devices.

VPN for Mainland-based Students

Using VPN

Mainland based students may download VPN to ensure quick access to library e-resources. Please refer to User Procedure and VPN Installation Guide prepared by ITS. For enquiries, please contact ITS Help Centre.

Exam Paper Database

Download the past exam papers from PolyU Examination Paper Database to prepare for exams of your subjects. You can do a search or browse by subject title and code.

PolyU staff and students can access and make use of the following i-Space facilities and equipment by making an appointment at the Library iBooking System.

Bloomberg Workstation (4/F)

Eligible users can book a Bloomberg workstation located on 4/F using the Library iBooking System.

One Button Studio

A self-service studio for staff and students to create digital content with a few steps. The facilities can support you in preparing presentation with PowerPoint projection, speech rehearsal and more.

Equipment in Digital Makerspace

The following equipment are available in i-Space:

  • Vinyl Cutting
  • Large-Format / Poster Printing
  • 3D Printing
  • 3D Scanner
  • Book Scanner
  • VR Experience Zone - offering HTC Vive Head Mounted Display (HDM) and Unity software
