Our Librarians conduct a wide variety of instruction sessions and workshops to equip our students and staff with relevant information literacy skills. Talk to your Faculty Librarian to see how we can help you or your students.
In-class instructions
We are happy to provide customized workshops on strategic use of library resources and introduce students to library research in a specific discipline or course assignment. Feel free to contact your Faculty Librarian or fill in the workshop request form for necessary arrangement. |

Online Courses & Recorded Workshops
We offer online courses on Learn@PolyU and recorded workshops on various topics. Interested PolyU students and staff can learn about Library resources and tools at their own pace. |
One-to-one Consultation
Feel free to contact your Faculty Librarian or book a one-to-one instruction sessions via the Research Consultation Appointment Form for topics like ORCID & author profiles management, research impact and visibility, open access publishing and open educational resources, reference management tools, locating and using resources from and beyond PolyU Library, etc.
You can also recommend your student to book a session with us for project and assignment consultation. |
Orientation
To make sure new members of the PolyU community can make the best use of our rich resources and services, we are happy to arrange orientation sessions and tours for new staff and students. |
Online Guides & Video Tutorials
We prepared online guides and video tutorials for our users as self-learning tools with topics ranging from subject knowledge and resources, citation helps, copyright, research, and scholarly communication. |
