Digital Visualisation Room 

The Digital Visualisation Room located in i-Space (4/F North Wing) is equipped with high resolution video wall to support digital scholarship research activities such as collaborative research meeting, seminars, visualisation of high resolution research output. 

Video Wall 

Consists of nine 46-inch LED TV panels with ultra-high resolution (5760pixels x 3240pixels), which enables data visualisation on multiple simultaneous inputs from mobile devices, laptop computers and other devices via wireless iOS or Android devices.

Immersive Virtual Reality Technology

Equipped with HTC Vive VR motion tracking sensors and various types of VR headsets to facilitate research projects using virtual reality and 3D modelling technologies. You can make a booking on VR Experience Zone via iBooking System to try out the VR facilities.

Computing & AV Equipment 

Provides a high-performance computer to support VR and 3D image rendering, and supports wireless microphones and various video players.

Seating Capacity 

Accommodates up to 42 people with feasible seating arrangement.

Video Recording 

Offers video recording or hybrid meeting setup for events upon request.

Booking Policy

PolyU academic, research and equivalent administrative staff (excluding CPCE staff) only are eligible to book the Room.  The Room is available from 9:00 am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (except public holidays).

To book the Digital Visualisation Room for digital scholarship activities and visualisation of your research outputs, you can submit the booking request form at least 3 working days in advance.
